BENIDORM, COSTA BLANCA, SPAIN.
Benidorm was perhaps one of the first major tourist resorts to spring up during the late 1950's and 60's and has long since been a firm favourite with clients returning year after year.
Benidorm has many different faces which appeal to a wide range of guests. Young and lively will enjoy its array of clubs and bars, while families will enjoy the long safe sandy beaches. In the winter months it is also a firm favourite with our "Silver Surfer" guests who often take long stay breaks to escape the cold northern european winters.
The resort is split into two main beach areas with the "Old Town " nestled in the middle. The larger and more popular Levante beach which offers a sandy beach with an array of watersports and other facilties, to the quieter and slightly less crowded Poniente beach to the west which reaches 2 miles to the lesser known area of La Cala.
The "Old Town" still retains some traditional narrow streets and whitewashed houses and is the still the main shopping area where you can find an array of goods to tempt.
Both the Benidorm beaches are flanked by attractive promenades with plenty of restaurants and bars an ideal place for an evening stroll.
Daytime activities in Benidorm are numerous from water-sports to theme parks, while the evenings can provide everything from a quiet bar with piano music to a lively club for the energetic. For those who prefer more select evening entertainment a visit to the famous "Benidorm Palace" is not to be missed to enjoy a great cabaret. There is also an international casino on the outskirts of town between Benidorm and Villajoyosa.
Benidorm is a year round resort with something for everyone.
